If you ever thought about visiting New Zealand…..

Now is definitely the time to do it!
I just went for a drive and a walk around some of the local beaches and gotta say, the place is looking amazing just now. Hard to believe it is still early spring, it really seemed like mid-summer. Close to where I live here in Auckland there is a small peninsula. It actually serves as one bank of the Tamaki River, a tidal estuary used a lot by recreational boaties as well as ferry services. It was a bit windy out there today but nonetheless a brilliant day. I took a walk up to Musick Point, which is at the very tip of the peninsula. The view out across the gulf to Browns island and Rangitoto was awesome. I reflected for a few minutes thinking how lucky we are to live in this beautiful part of the world; it really is gorgeous. Of course, we have the city itself just 10 miles west of where I live but in the eastern suburbs you can forget the city even exists if you want to.
