  • Click here for Grimm Fairy Tales – fairy tales as well as other stories, coloring-in activities and games for young children. Lots of fun
  • Click here for KidsStoriesOnline – stories, poems and art by adults and kids. This site also has story writing tips and a few games. May require the help of a parent or other adult to get used to this page but well worth it.
  • Click here to visit WiredForBooks – a collection of Peter Rabbit and other Beatrix Potter stories to read and also listen to. Simple to read and follow stories.
  • Click here for the BritishCouncil/Learn English site – from fairy tales and stories for very young kids up to more difficult reading, this site has plenty to keep kids of all ages entertained and educated. Includes songs, poems and learning games as well. Great resource.
  • Click here for the International Children’s Digital Library – over 4000 books to read online. Some great classics here. Some can be tricky to read directly on the page but there are resizing and other options. Some parental assistance is recommended to get set up.
  • Click here for Pitara – loads of activities and games for younger kids to learn while they have fun.
  • Click here to visit Beantime Stories – fun reading for kids from about 4 to 8 years old. Read the entire series about Pigmoose, Frogwart, the Three Pumpkin Pirates and a lot more.
  • Between the Lions – has all kinds of stories, video clips and games for young children up to about 7 years old. The stories play like a movie with the text appearing above the illustrations. Loads of fun. A very interactive site. Some of the pages and stories can take a few seconds to load up but well worth the wait.
  • Click here to visit Up-To-Ten – over 1300 games and fun activities for kids. Mix paint and color-in pictures and then print them out, or print out pictures and color them in using your own color pencils, paints or crayons. Awesome site for developing your child’s creativity.
